How do I open an account?
By clicking Register you can enter your name, e-mail address and a password. You have now opened an account and can book or offer parking spaces. The user account is completely free and comes without obligation.
How do I download the iPhone-App?
The free iPhone application is located in the App Store under the name parku
How do I download the parku Android-App?
The free Samsung application is located in the Samsung App Store under the name parku
How do I search for a parking space?
On our page you can specify the location and the date you want, including the time. parku will search for all parking available at this time, which can be booked directly.
What is the minimum stay?
The minimum stay for a parking space is 30 minutes.
How do I book the selected parking space?
Once you have found your parking space, click on the green "Rent" button. Now you can enter your personal information or log in with an existing account. Choose your payment option and after clicking on the confirmation of our Terms and Conditions, click "Rent now." We will send you a confirmation of booking by e-mail you can always check in the user account.
When do I enter into a contract?
A lease is agreed after accepting our Terms and conditions and clicking the button "Rent now".
How can I pay for the booked parking space?
There are several payment options available. You can pay with your Visa and MasterCard or PayPal. Our payment provider Wire card and PayPal have years of experience with secure online transactions.
Can I change my mind after the booking?
If you want to use the parking time for longer, you can extend the extra period in your account at any time while it is still available. Cancellations are possible. For detailed information, please refer to our "cancellation policy".
Do I search and rent for my parking in advance?
No. You can book parking spaces at any time spontaneously through your smart phone.
Can I book more parking spaces at once?
After each completed booking, you have the opportunity to book another parking space. More than one parking space at the same location must be rented via a new booking.
Can I renew the lease for a reserved parking spaces during the parking time?
In your Account you will find your reserved parking spaces. You can extend the lease by clicking on "extend", provided that it is still available. At the park monitor on the iPhone App, you will also find a button to extend the parking. If a parking space is already rented to someone else, we may ask you to move to a nearby car park.
How much is the rent for a parking space?
The rental price of a parking space is set by the landlord. You can see the price per hour directly from the parking lot description.
When will my credit card, my bank account, etc. be charged when I make a reservation?
By triggering a booking, your PayPal account or your credit card will be charged shortly afterwards.
Can I cancel a booking and if so what are the conditions?
Cancellations are possible. For detailed information, please refer to our cancellation policy.
What kind of information about the landlord will be accessible to me?
We check the car parks of our landlords regularly. If you should have a complaint about the landlord, you should contact us on [email protected].
Can I contact a landlord directly?
It is not possible to contact the landlord directly.
What should I do if I cannot remove my car before the lease expires?
Try to extend the parking time in your Account or the app. Should the parking space be no longer available, the parking space has to be cleared on time, otherwise a fine could be imposed or the vehicle could be towed away.
Where can I complain if I was not satisfied?

What kind of parking can I offer?
You can only offer parking spaces that are freely accessible, or behind electronic barriers which are able to be opened via SESAM.
Can I offer more than one parking space?
You can offer an unlimited amount of parking spaces.
What information do I need to provide for parking spaces?
The more details you provide about your car park, the better the tenant can access the suitability of the parking space. Mandatory information required is just the location of your parking space, your fixed rent and free parking times. A photo of your parking space helps the tenant in finding the car park and will increase the number of bookings.
How do I mark individual parking spaces in a large car park?
If requested, a parku sign to mark your parking space for customers can be provided. If the parking space is already labelled with a number or a license plate, you can also specify this in the description. We are happy to take a photo of your parking space with our legendary parku car. Write to us the address of your parking space at [email protected] and we can take a photograph of your parking space.
What is the minimum stay?
The minimum stay is 30 minutes.
Can a parking space be rented throughout the specified rental period?
After each rental period, the following 15 minute period will not be offered. In this way, overlap and waiting times with consequent inconvenience are avoided.
When is a rental contract finalised?
By clicking on the "rent now" button, a lease will have been completed.
How will I be informed about a booking?
You will be informed by e-mail about a booking. In your account, you will also find an overview of all bookings made.
How much is the rent for a parking space?
You can specify the rental fee for a parking space according to the location. As a guideline, in the city we recommend a parking fee of EUR 3 per hour.
What costs will be deducted from my rent?
Our commission will be deducted which will be equivalent to a third of the rent. Two-thirds will be paid at the end of the month.
Can I use my parking space at any time for me?
You can remove your parking space at any time from our platform. Please note that tenants may have already booked your parking space.
How much income can I expect in a month?
The income depends strongly on the location of your parking space and the fixed rental price.The potential earnings are on average 100 to 300 CHF a month.
When will I receive my rent?
You will receive your accrued rent at the end of each month. Make sure you enter your account information into your Account.
What payment options are available?
We can transfer your rental income by bank transfer or via a PayPal account.

What information about a tenant is accessible to me?
All bookings of tenants can be seen in your account. To verify the tenant, you can check the licence plate of the parked car.
Can I contact a tenant directly?
Direct contact with the tenant is only possible through personal greeting.
What can I do if I was sick or in need of my parking space unexpectedly?

What should I do if I want to use the car park at the end of the lease myself, but it is still occupied?
Call our hotline on +41 (0) 43 928 72 52 and we will immediately report or arrange the towing of the wrongly parked car.
